Our nursery seeks to provide a safe and inviting environment for our youngest to wiggle, play, and rest while their parents are spiritually fed. We spend time playing with age-appropriate toys, singing songs, and general play.
Our 3-4 Year Old class is designed to help kids learn about Jesus in engaging ways, and prepare them to join our worship service. They sing songs together, work through a an age appropriate lesson from the Gospel Project, color a corresponding coloring page, eat snacks and play together.

We are working on opening a 5-6 year old class. This class will remain in our Worship Service until the sermon. At that point, they will go to their Kids Classroom, where they will work through a lesson from the Bible Project, sing and play together.
We work hard to ensure the safety of your kids. All of Pillar Kids volunteers are background checked, trained on sexual abuse awareness through MinistrySafe, and are taught policies and procedures in case of an emergency or evacuation. All of our Kids Classes are equipped with a security camera. Volunteers are never allowed to be one-on-one with a kid. All parents are required to have a pick up slip when they pick up their child after service.
The Gospel Project is a curriculum produced by Lifeway Christian Resources. It works its way through the entire story of the Bible over the course of 3 years. Each lesson is Christ-centered, and adapted to be age appropriate, so that your kids can learn all about Jesus!
To ensure the smoothest time possible, we ask that toys from home be kept to a minimum.
Pillar Kids has a 15 minute cry limit before contacting the parents. This allows us the best balance to help kids adjust to a new space, while also caring for the safety of the child, and the well being of Pillar Kids volunteers. We ask that all parents ensure to include their phone numbers when they check their kids in for Sunday Morning Worship.
All Pillar Kids are given a sheet with the Main Idea from that Sunday’s lesson, along with their coloring sheet. We also send out an at home discussion guide from each Sunday in our Weekly Email. We encourage our parents to discuss the lesson with their kids, and ask them what they have learned each week.
